In January, Benjamin Moore announced their most sampled paint colors of 2025, which gives us a pretty good indicator of which shades are among their most popular paint colors.
My guess is that their top 9 most sampled paint colors were actually entirely neutrals, but that they selected a few of the top neutrals and then a few of the top actual colors to make list more interesting and colorful. It also helps us know which color families are trending right now.
So, if you’re wondering what the top neutral and colors for Benjamin Moore are this year, here is the list of the most sampled paint colors.

Benjamin Moore Simply White

Simply White, OC-117, is a light white paint color with warm undertones. With no other brighter whites in the room, Simply White will appear very bright and clean.
Many people choose Simply White for trim color, but it can also be used on cabinets, walls, exteriors, and more.
Simply White is one of Benjamin Moore’s most popular white paint colors because it is bright and clean, and without any strong undertones.
Benjamin Moore White Dove

White Dove, OC-17, is another warm white, but this one has a bit more color than Simply White.
White Dove has soft yellow and gray undertones, and takes on an almost creamy look on your walls. Some people also use this color on their trim, but it has a bit too much yellow for my taste.
On walls though, White Dove is lovely and extremely popular. It can also be used on cabinets, home exteriors, and more.
Truth be told, White Dove isn’t my favorite warm white… it just has a bit too much yellow for me. But since it is heralded by designers and homeowners alike, I am probably wrong on this one.
Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee

Swiss Coffee, OC-45, is a fan favorite. It is a gorgeous off-white that has yellow, green and gray undertones. You don’t necessarily see any of those shades in it, but they give it a soft and warm appearance.
Swiss Coffee is a great wall color, but can be used anywhere that you want a cozy, off-white shade. It has been a huge player in the paint world for over a decade (maybe longer!), so you can rest assured that this color is timeless and classic.
Benjamin Moore Pale Oak

Pale Oak, OC-20, is another off-white that has a bit of depth to it for something that we call a white. Pale Oak is a blend of gray and beige with a touch of pink/purple in it.
Like Swiss Coffee, Pale Oak is also a warm shade, but while Swiss Coffee gets its warmth from a yellow undertone, Pale Oak gets it from a pink/purple undertone.
Pale Oak has been popular for years, and with recent color trends moving towards light taupes, I predict that it won’t fade in popularity any time soon.
Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter

Revere Pewter, HC-172, is one of Benjamin Moore’s greats. This light paint color blends gray and beige with a green undertones, and maybe even a hint of purple.
Together, this makes for an earthy, soft neutral that is beautiful on walls or home exteriors.
If you’ve been around then paint world for very long, you know that Revere Pewter has a staying power that outranks many other shades.
Because it isn’t too gray or too beige, it has survived all of the recent trends over the years – beige, gray and greige.
Benjamin Moore Saybrook Sage

Saybrook Sage, HC-114, is a medium green paint color that is soft and inviting. It has risen in popularity with the all-things-green trend that became popular in recent years.
Saybrook Sage is a great color for walls though, and isn’t so green that it feels juvenile.
Greens because more popular in the last 5 years, and while the paint and design companies are attempting to make shifts towards reds, green is still trending in actual homes.
Benjamin Moore Cinnamon Slate

Cinnamon Slate, 2113-40, is a medium dark grayish purple paint color. It was Benjamin Moore’s 2025 Color of the Year.
It is a nice paint color, but I’m surprised that it made the top 9. Maybe people sampled it because it was new, or maybe Benjamin Moore wanted to continue to hype this shade. But I’d be surprise if it actually beat out some of the greats like Balboa Mist, Manchester Tan, Kendall Charcoal or Chantilly Lace.
Either way, it adds a nice pop of color to their top 9 shades list.
Cinnamon Slate has a bit too much depth for most rooms, but it can work if you want to envelop a space with a cozy vibe.
Benjamin Moore Hale Navy

Hale Navy, HC-154, is a long time favorite for many. This dark navy blue is deep and sophisticated. It can help to balance an otherwise light space, and can be used on trim, woodwork, doors, exteriors, or even walls.
Hale Navy brings a bit of color into the room but still acts a neutral because it can work alongside most any other shade.
While navy doesn’t show up on too many prediction lists or Color of the Year choices for 2026, it is an ever popular neutral that homeowners will always use and love due to its versatility.
Benjamin Moore Vintage Vogue

Vintage Vogue, 462, is dark green paint color with smokey undertones. It can be used in place of a dark neutral to bring depth and grounding to any space.
Vintage Vogue is a surprising paint color for this list. While it is a completely gorgeous green, its not a shade that you typically hear much about.
My prediction is that this will change. If it has made the top 9, its definitely an up and coming shade that could become a heavy hitter this year.

Final Thoughts on Benjamin Moore’s Most Popular Colors for 2026
Based on Benjamin Moore’s most sampled paint colors of 2025, I think we will continue to see the paint world ruled by neutrals (no surprise there!), greens of varying depths (again, not shocking), warm taupes, and the ever present calming force of strong and neutral navy blues.
All of these shade are safe, classic options (well… other than Cinnamon Slate) that will give your home a timeless appeal, while also giving your space a style that reflects current design trends – the best of both worlds!
